Teuila Festival 2014
Cabinet has approved the programme for the Teuila Festival 2014, set for 30 August – 6 September.
The date for the official opening of the Teuila Festival has been changed to Saturday, 30 August 2014 because of the official opening of the Small Island Developing States Conference hosted by Samoa, which is scheduled for Sunday, 31 August 2014.
The Teuila Festival programme will begin on Monday 1st September with the Teuila Parade, led by the Police Band, which will start from the grounds of the Police Headquarters and move towards the main Teuila stage in front of the FMFM II building. The programme also features choir exhibitions, evangelical performances, sports and culture displays. There will also be a Teuila Food Festival, fire dance and weaving workshops. The Miss Samoa Pageant will be the final event of the week.
