Speaker of the House, Leaupepe Toleafoa Faafisi accepted a donation of laptops and printers from the Government of China, through the Chinese Embassy in Samoa, earlier this morning.
China’s Ambassador to Samoa, His Excellency Wang Xuefeng officially presented the donation to the Speaker.
“I would like to take this golden opportunity to express my gratitude to Your Excellency, Mr Ambassador with great appreciation and thanks for these materials that you have donated for us,” said Leaupepe.
China’s Ambassdor, HE Xuefeng said he was very happy to present the equipment for the Samoan Parliament on behalf of the Government and people of China.
“I think the donation will be of great help for the Samoan Parliament and further improve bilateral relations between the Government of China and Parliament of Samoa.”
