(9 MARCH 2020); In accordance with the risks of the spreading Novel Coronavirus–19, the Samoa Airport Authority, as a precaution:
1. Encourages the public to limit activity and people coming to the airport to farewell and meet traveling families and friends.
2. The public is encouraged to bid farewell in the comfort of their homes and have one person drop or pick up the traveler(s).
3. To enhance personal safety, the use of airport taxis and shuttle services is encouraged for arriving family and friends.
4. The public is strongly advised to wear masks and use sanitizers in all areas of the airport.
5. Loitering at the airport is restricted. Removal will be enforced by Police and Airport Security.
