“We leave no stone unturned,” – MPMC CEO

The Cabinet Liaison Officers Forum have existed for a decade now without a lot of fanfare.

The Forum which unites advisors across the Executive Branch is a fundamental component in the gathering and processing appropriate advice and recommendations for Cabinet’s deliberation to make informed and beneficial decisions for the wellbeing of the country and residents.

And that legacy remains solidly in tact as the Forum marched on with their latest rounds of brainstorming taking place this week.

Brainchild by the Ministry of Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Forum unites all the three branches of Government which includes the Executive, Judiciary and Legislative to formulate a unified voice of advisories to the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

Said MPMC Chief Executive Officer Agafili Tomaimano Shem Leo;

“The Forum’s mission and their role is to research and provide sound recommendations and advice to Cabinet as part of the due diligence decision making process resulting in beneficial developments for the benefit of the country.

“We leave no stone unturned prior to providing sound recommendations supported by empirical evidence from research, so that Cabinet is well informed when it comes to making informed and appropriate decisions on issues of national interests.

 “Forum members are also mindful of the importance of their roles as Advisors to Cabinet and this is a permanent agenda item during our brainstorming sessions.”

“One of our main goal is to establish a uniform understanding between all the three branches to ensure that Cabinet is fully advised.

 “And it ensures that when we are called upon by the Cabinet for advice, we come in and we are all on the same page with our recommendations and advise to the Prime Minister and Ministers.”

And since birth, national projects and reforms which have come under the Forum’s microscope is nationwide and covers issues such as clean water initiatives, electricity and renewable energy, villages and communities and the whole of government,” Agafili explained.

 “We leave no stone unturned,” concluded the MPMC Chief Executive.
