The Traffic Division is re-located to the Lauofo Compound at Matautu from the Fagalii Airport as of Monday this week, Deputy Police Commissioner Papali’i Monalisa Tiai-Keti told Press Conference the weekend.
The relocation is part of the Government’s plan to reopen Fagalii Airport for inter-island travel between the two Samoas. When the Airport will resume operations is not determined.
In related developments, Papalii also announced that licensing and registration of vehicles and driver’s licenses has also been returned to the Land Transport Authority.
The relocation is on a temporary basis until a permanent fixture is secured.
