Fifteen (15) members of staff of the Ministry of Customs and Revenue graduated in the National University of Samoa graduation ceremony in December 2023 and April 2024. It is a remarkable achievement for the Ministry and its investment in staff tertiary pursuits.

Each year, the Ministry of Customs and Revenue holds its recognition ceremony for all its graduates, where they are congratulated and acknowleged by Senior Management for their academic achievements.

This year, a record number of graduates for the Ministry was noted, with staff awarded Bachelors and Postgraduate Diplomas in the areas of Commerce, Accounting, Arts and Development Studies.

The Chief Executive of the Ministry, Afioga Fonoti Talaitpu Lia Taefu led the congratulatory message by acknowledging this milestone in the Ministry’s achievements, recognizing the importance of continued investment in staff education and the government’s commitment to cultivating enabling environments in the Public Service for staff to pursue their academic ambitions.
