Hon. Faualo Harry Jeffrey Schuster
Faualo Harry Jeffrey Schuster is the Minister for Police and Prisons. He represents the Constituency of Vaimauga No.4 and this is his second Parliamentary term.
Faualo attended Marist Brothers Mulivai, St. Joseph’s College Alafua, St. Paul’s College in Auckland New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.
Faualo has over 30 years of work experience in the law sector in Samoa and overseas. He has served in the Government through the Attorney General’s Office and was also a District Court Judge from 2008 – 2011. He was a Member of Parliament for Tautua Party from 2011 to 2016. He also served as a partner for a few private law firms in the country and was a Sole Principal for the Schuster Laws Samoa in 2019 – 2020, until he ran for the 2021 elections.
Faualo is married to Frances Soon-Schuster and they have four children and one grandchild. They are members of the Catholic Church and the Congregational Christian Church (CCCS).
