“We have a Family Violence Court, and as far as I know there is no other court like it in the Pacific, which is a shame because this Court is where we are able to use the most useful aspects of our Pacific culture to address the issue of violence in our communities.”
Politicians, policy-makers and advocates from the Pacific region have rallied behind the United Nations Child Fund’s call to end violence against children. This has been the overwhelming response on the first day of the UNICEF Ending Violence Against Children (EVAC) Conference held in Nadi from 18-20 May.

This year’s Recognised Seasonal Employer Conference is in Samoa, the first time the conference has been held in an RSE partner nation.
