The Samoa National Action Plan on Youth Employment or SNAPonYE project was officially launched today in Apia, through joint efforts between the Ministry of Women, Community and Social Development and the International Labour Organisation’s Pacific Office.

Another round of training for some of the Principals and Deputies of both primary schools and colleges took place last week. The training took one week at SCOPA Hall at Vaivase.
Preparations are currently underway at the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture for the opening of the Samoa School of Languages (SSoL) in the first week of March.

A training was held recently for all the teachers of Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Upolu and Savaii. The main purpose of the training was to upgrade teachers’ knowledge and skills and share more effective teaching methods to assist them in their work for the new year.
