A short ceremony was held at Mulinuu peninsula where students, teachers, and supporters gathered to witness the blessing and launching of the ‘Don Bosco 200’ fautasi which will compete in the American Samoa Flag Day regatta next month.
“This is a huge milestone not only for Samoa but for our Pacific Islands men and women who are educated and have the opportunity to gain Australian standards, skills and qualifications, giving them a very wide benefit of education and careers in the Pacific,” said the Prime Minister.

The Samoa National Action Plan on Youth Employment or SNAPonYE project was officially launched today in Apia, through joint efforts between the Ministry of Women, Community and Social Development and the International Labour Organisation’s Pacific Office.
