The Government of Samoa disbursed $6m tala worth of grants to schools in Samoa yesterday in a brief ceremony during Cabinet’s afternoon session.
The Government of Samoa disbursed $6m tala worth of grants to schools in Samoa yesterday in a brief ceremony during Cabinet’s afternoon session.
A short ceremony was held at Mulinuu peninsula where students, teachers, and supporters gathered to witness the blessing and launching of the ‘Don Bosco 200’ fautasi which will compete in the American Samoa Flag Day regatta next month.
“This is a huge milestone not only for Samoa but for our Pacific Islands men and women who are educated and have the opportunity to gain Australian standards, skills and qualifications, giving them a very wide benefit of education and careers in the Pacific,” said the Prime Minister.
